What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and that the browser sends back to the website when you visit it again. Similar technologies, such as the storage areas of the browser (local storage and session storage) or small invisible images in emails (“pixels”), work in a comparable way; in this policy, “cookies” covers them too.
- First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting (itaevo.com); third-party cookies are set by, or on behalf of, another organisation. The Google Analytics cookies are stored under our domain but serve Google’s service, so we treat them as third-party cookies.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or until you delete them.
- Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work or to provide a service you ask for, and do not require consent (Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC; Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Analytics cookies measure how a website is used: the ones we use are provided by a third party and are activated only with your consent. Profiling and advertising cookies build profiles for marketing purposes: we do not use them.

Other similar technologies. The public pages of the website do not use local storage, session storage or other similar technologies. Only in the staff area of the invitation system, the browser’s session storage keeps a temporary identifier (mass_bid) of the batch of emails being sent, so that the sending can resume if the page is reloaded; it is deleted when the tab is closed.
Social networks and other websites. The icons of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube and the links to binotto.com are simple links: they do not set any cookie and do not send any data until you click on them and leave our website.
Similar technologies in our emails
The emails of the invitation system for IAA Transportation 2026 contain a tiny invisible image and personalised links, which record the opening of the message and the clicks on its links, with date and time, IP address and user agent. Details, legal basis and retention are in the Privacy Policy. You can prevent it by not loading images automatically in your email program.
Your choice and how to change it
When you first visit the website, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you make a choice, only technical cookies are used.
- If you accept, Google Analytics is activated.
- If you refuse, or close the banner with the ×, Google Analytics is not activated, and the website works in exactly the same way.
- With Customize you can see the cookies in each category and decide category by category.
We remember your choice for 6 months with the itaevo_consent cookie; after that, or if we change the cookies we use, we will ask you again. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops and the _ga cookies are deleted from your browser.
If the button does not respond, your browser may be blocking JavaScript on this website: you can still delete the cookies from your browser settings, as explained below.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics cookies, unless you choose otherwise in the cookie settings.

Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites. Blocking all cookies may prevent some functions from working, such as the booking pages of the invitation system.
Third-party services
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. How Google processes data is explained in the Google Privacy Policy and on the page how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We update this policy when the cookies we use change; if we add cookies that require consent, we will ask for your choice again.
